Friday, May 18th, 2007. Post written by: JimWell, looks like I’ll be getting a 2008 model for my Cayman S. I contacted Speedway Motors, and was told that my car got in the July production, which will be a 2008 model, and delivery will get pushed back to sept/oct. Guess I can’t complain. :) I’m price protected, since the car is already bought and deposite made, so any price increase in the 08 models will not affect me.
And according to various sources on the web, Porsche 2008 models will have a modest price increase: Boxster prince will increase by 0.5%, Boxster S and Cayman S will increase by 0.4%, while the base Cayman will remain the same.
While no details or specifics on the 08 Cayman models have been released, I’ve seen a few spy shot of the 2008 Cayman S. If only I could remember which site that was from… doesn’t seem like there’s too much changes, other than some minor cosmetic updates. Beyond that, little there’s little info on what’s coming for the 08 cayman models.
